Joining the PAIR Center in June 2021 as a Project Manager, Shira is working on the PCORI funded, smoking cessation clinical trial, recruiting at four large health centers across the United States. She joins the PAIR Center with 12 years of experience in clinical research at the University of Pennsylvania and as a graduate from Drexel University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology.

A Philly native, Shira’s favorite past-times include hiking and backpacking, swimming, board-games and puzzles, and sharing meals with friends and family. Currently trying to learn how to identify various birds and different trees, Shira often visits her favorite local spots like the Wissahickon Gorge and John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge.
